MU names probables for Badminton teams' trial

IMPHAL, Oct 10
The  Department of Sports, Manipur University has announced the probable badminton players who will be attending MU team trial for the year 2024-25 at Dr Kamal Indoor Stadium, MU on October 12 from 10 am.
The players who have been called up for the university team trial as per a notification of the Department of Sports, Manipur University are as follows.
Men's
Salam Stearly of N Birahari College, Thoudam Dison of N Birahari College, Md Nawas Sharif of MU, Chandrakanta M of MU, Laishram Akash of K Pemton College, Konsam Sandeep of K Pemton College, Y Johnson of Manipur College, RK Alen of Mangolnganbi College, H Rohenkumar of Mangolnganbi College, Bonson of Thambal Marik College, Bhasen of Thambal Marik College, K Nganba of Pole Star College, Chirom Vikson of Pole Star College, Chingangbam Ritesh of Pole Star College, Zomi Singham of Biramangol College, N Avinash of Biramangol College, S Joychandra of Liberal College and T Dingku of K Pemton.
Women
S Kanchan of Imphal College, S Priyaluxmi of SKWC, Sweta Loitongbam of MU, Mercy Thoudam of MU, Shellina Kh of Liberal College and Sh Bhumika of Biramangol College.
 Department of Sports, Manipur University further added that any college (s) who have not participated in the last tournament may also apply, not more than 2 male and 1 female player, for the trial selection of MU on or before 10 am of October 12.
The selected team will participate in the ensuing "East Zone Inter University Badminton (M&W) Tournaments, 2024-25 to be held at NSU, Manipur, Imphal and Sambalpur University, Odisha respectively, it added.
