Parishad hosts felicitation programme

THOUBAL, Oct 1 :Manipuri Sahitya Parishad, Tripura organised a felicitation programme in Agartala to honour nine Meiteis who have excelled in their respective fields.
The nine Meiteis include gold medallists, PhD recipients and three individuals who successfully cleared the civil service exam conducted by Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC).
The three, namely, Maibam Purba Singha, Laifrakpam Thomson and Kshetrimayum Debojyoti Singha were awarded the prestigious "Maibam Chandrakanta Ningsing Mana".
The programme was held in connection with the 128th birth anniversary of Lamyanba Hijam Irabot.
Subhasish Talapatra, former Chief Justice, Odisha High Court also graced the event.
