Mount Everest College signs MOU with Emporium Training & Consultancy Pvt Ltd

Senapati, Oct 1: The Mount Everest College, Senapati has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to partner with Emporium Training & Consultancy Pvt Ltd and set up an extension center of the Emporium at the College.
The MoU was signed during the event “Employment Linked, Counselling Program & Signing of MOU” held at the college auditorium on Tuesday.
This extension centre will reportedly cover the entire zone of Senapati district and provide training and placement opportunities to the unemployed youth of the district. The two institutes will jointly screen applicants and conduct counselling of the eligible candidates. With this, the youths of Senapati can avail the training program from the Emporium, Mount Everest College without travelling afar and get placement around the world from the institution itself.
Today's program was attended by students and staff of Mount Everest College and executives from Emporium Training & Consultancy Pvt Ltd as resource persons.
Anirban Mukherjee, Operations Manager at Emporium Training Skill Development & Capacity Building spoke on the importance of skill development amongst the youth and its scope of employment in the world.
It was mentioned that many youth from Senapati district including students from Mount Everest College in particular have been placed around the world through the initiative and training of the Emporium.
Notably, the Emporium Training & Consultancy Pvt Ltd is an institution registered under the National Skill Development Corporation, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Tourism & Hospitality Sector Skill Council, Government of India.
The program followed with an interactive session between the students of Mount Everest College and the Emporium team and ended with a vote of thanks from KR Alen Chiru, HOD, Department of Political Science.
