NSG : Martin Ingudam bags badminton gold as Radhamani settles for boxing silver

IMPHAL, Jan 8 : Martin Ingudam won Manipur a gold medal in the U-14 boys badminton in the 67th National School Games being underway in NCT Delhi.
Martin Ingudam got the better of CBSE rival 21-14, 17-21, 21-10 today to seal the U-14 boys singles title today.
The State team were led by M Romesh Luwang and Davis Kangjam as coach and manager respectively.
Meanwhile in the 67th National School Games Boxing, Radhamani bagged a silver medal to the tally in the discipline to 4 medals (one silver and three bronze).
Radhamani, competing in the U-17 girls 52 kg category, slumped to a 0-5 loss to Delhi boxer Renu today to settle for the silver medal.
Yesterday, Manipur's M Alia (42 kg), M Max (above 44 kg) and Nimsolung Khapai (63 kg) suffered semi-final defeats to end up with bronze medals.
The teams are led by Thoimani and Jiten as manager and coach respectively.
