Maram Battalion distributes bakery equipment

Maram Battalion of the Assam Rifles took a significant step towards fostering self-sufficiency and skill development by distributing baking and biscuit making equipment to the residents of Willong Khullen village in Senapati district today.
Commandant of Maram Battalion graced the event and interacted with village authorities and residents, emphasizing the importance of community empowerment through such initiatives, said a statement by the Assam Rifles.
'This endeavour not only equips the community with the means to generate income but also promotes self-reliance, aligning with the overarching goal of the Assam Rifles to contribute to the socio-economic development of the region', he said. The interaction between the Commandant and the village authorities highlighted the collaborative effort to build a resilient and self-sustaining community.
