Civic action programme109 Bn CRPF donates physiotherapy equipment

109 Bn CRPF organised a civic action programme at the 10 bedded Ayush Wing Yoga and Nature Cure Centre, Mongsangei at Imphal West district today and distributed 10 physiotherapy equipment.
The civic action programme was organised under the aegis of IG Manipur and Nagaland Sector and the physiotherapy equipment were distributed to the centre for treatment of poor and needy families and to extend a helping hand to the residents of the region, said a press note by 109 Bn CRPF.
Bal Krishna Ram, Commandant 109 Bn CRPF; Akoijam Lokendra Singh, Director (Ayush), Directorate of Ayush, Government of Manipur; S Bishwanath Sharma, State Ayush Officer graced the occasion as presidium members among others.
The 109 Bn CRPF Commandant while speaking at the programme said that the 109 Bn CRPF has always helped the needy people of the society by reaching out to them at their doorstep.
He emphasized that the decision to provide the State-of-the -art, physiotherapy equipment is based on the belief in the transformative power of healthcare.
He further said, 'We recognize the pivotal role that rehabilitation plays in the lives of individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries or managing chronic conditions'.
By providing advanced tools and resources to the dedicated healthcare professionals, it is aimed to elevate the standards of care, ensuring that every patient receives the best possible support on their journey to recovery, he added.
He also thanked the staff of the centre in making the event successful and extending help to them in the commitment to community's well-being, added the press note.
