Entrepreneurs meet held to promote displaced people, local entrepreneurs

IMPHAL, Sep 4
An “Entrepreneurs Meet” aimed at promoting the products produced by displaced people taking refuge at different relief camps and the local entrepreneurs was held at T. S. Paul Manipur Women’s College today.
The programme was organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college in connection with World Entrepreneurship Day under the banner Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan.
Chairman of the Governing Body of the college Elangbam Dolendra Singh ; Secretary Oinam Priyokumar Singh and Principal of the College Th Nandita Devi graced the occasion as the presidium members.
A total of 25 entrepreneurs participated in the event and showcased their products.
Eminent personalities from Manipur's Film Industry and Music Industry namely Bala Hijam, Soma Laishram, Jolly, Umoni, Uttam, Arbind Soibam, Lenin Kaiser among others also turned up to support the cause. They stressed on the need to organize similar events in future to strive for the welfare of displaced people and local entrepreneurs.
