IMPHAL, Sep 28: Mighty Manipur thrashed Odisha 8-0 in the Tier-1 semi-final match of the Junior Girls' National Football Championship to enter the final while State's junior boys beat Ladakh 10-0 in the Tier-2 Group Stage at Bhubaneswar.
In the semi-final match of the junior girls', Manipur's Khumukcham Bhumika Devi scored a treble while Sarangthem Alena and Kayenpaibam Anju Chanu scored a double each.
Substitute Hemam Linthoi Devi scored one goal in the 46th minute.
Sarangthem Alena Devi scored the first goal of the match in the 7th minute followed by another from  Khumukcham Bhumika Devi in the 32nd minute that gave Manipur an early 2-0 lead over Odisha.
Minutes later, Sarangthem Alena Devi scored her second goal in the 39th minute.
Kayenpaibam Anju Chanu scored first of her two goals in the 42nd minute before Khumukcham Bhumika Devi adding another in the 44th minute.
Kayenpaibam Anju Chanu scored her second and Manipur's 7th goal of the match in the 60th minute and  Khumukcham Bhumika Devi fired her third goal in the 71st minute to win the semi final match 8-0 against Odisha, which failed to register any goals.
Junior boy's match
In the junior boys' tier-2 match, Manipur beat Ladakh 10-0.
Manipur's Thuinganing Awungshi alone scored 6 goals while Thangjam Majaibungo Singh scored two goals. Laishram Suraj Singh scored one goal.
Thuinganing Awungshi scored Manipur's 6 goals in the 19th, 27th, 41 (P), 56th, 70th and 72nd minute of the match.
Thangjam Majaibungo scored doubles in the 46th and 79th minute.
Laishram Suraj scored one in the 28th minute.
