Swachhta Hi Sewa campaign gains momentum in Thoubal

THOUBAL, Sep 20 (DIO)
Under the ongoing "Swachhta Hi Sewa” campaign, Thoubal Municipal Council and Shikhong Sekmai Municipal Council have been organising various cleanliness activities in the district.
As a part of such activities, the Thoubal Municipal Council organised door to door campaigns and conducted cleanliness drives along the Highways.
In line with the "Swachhta Hi Sewa” campaign, Sikhong Sekmai Municipal Council also organised a tree plantation drive and cleanliness activity today along the roadside of Sikhong-Pechi road.
The council also informed that a health check up camp for the sanitary workers and staff will be held at Nongpok Sekmai Primary Health Centre (PHC) on September 25, 2023.
It is worth mentioning that the 'Swachhta Hi Seva' movement is gaining momentum in the district with participation from line departments.
The fortnightly programme which began from September 17 will be held till October 2, 2023 in the district.
