Foundation Day celebration cum prize distribution programme conducted

THOUBAL, Sep 1: The 2nd Foundation Day celebration cum Prize distribution programme for Ibemhal Vishal Academy, Sapam Khongjom was held today at the hall of the school.
Chairman cum Managing Director of the Academy, S Bankimchandra graced the occasion as the chief guest while Principal Th Kunjeshwar graced as the president.
The main highlight of the programme was the presentation of TVS Jupiter to Chingtham Debeshwori for bringing laurels to the school by securing 14th position in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination 2023.
It is worth mentioning that Debeshwori, daughter of Chingtham Oken of Tekcham Mayai Leikai was the overall subject topper for Maths and Higher Maths in the said examination.
Other passed out meritorious students, teaching and non-teaching staff were also honoured with gifts during the programme.
Speaking at the occasion, S Bankimchandra lauded the sincere efforts of the teachers and accredited them for the success of the school.
He also called upon the parents and guardians to support  the school in producing good students and in achieving more commendable feats in future.
Students of the school also showcased various cultural and traditional shows during the programme.
