RIMS Executive Council Meeting held

Imphal, Aug 4 : The 50th Executive Council Meeting of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal was held on August 1 at Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi under the chairmanship of Sudhansh Pant, Secretary of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
Prof G Sunil Kumar Sharma, Director, RIMS, Imphal; Prof N Sanjib Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS Hospital, Imphal and other officials from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India also attended the meeting, said RIMS in a release.
During the meeting, RIMS authority placed for approval to procure new instruments like Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA), MRI machine, Lumenis Pulse 120H Holmium Laser System (Moses Technology) for Urology in public interest. They also demanded free medicines and Test facilities for in-patient/admitted patients, CGHS/EHS like facilities for RIMS employees among others.
