Stage set for semi-finals of State U-17 Girls' Subroto Cup

IMPHAL, Jul 22 : The semi-final line up of the 62nd State Level Subroto Cup for U-17 girls organised by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports was completed today.
Pool-A winners Ananda Purna School of Science of Thoubal district will play Pool B runners up Langmeidong Higher Secondary School of Kakching district in the first semi-final match tomorrow from 7.30 am before Pool B winners Wangoi Higher Secondary School will take on Pool A runners up TAM Mission High School Andro from 8.30 pm.
In a crucial Pool A match, Ananda Purna School of Science thumped TAM Mission High School 2-0 courtesy a brace from L Nira (24', 51') to finish pool winners.
In a dead rubber Pool A match, Irengbam High School of Bishnupur district romped 5-0 past Sharon English School of Noney district to end the competition on a high.
L Rani (9'), O Ratika (19', 23'), Hemabati (30') and Helena (30') scored for Irengbam High School in this one sided encounter staged later.
