CPI team leaves for Delhi

IMPHAL, Jun 20: A 30-member team of CPI Manipur State Council left Imphal for Delhi today. Seeking urgent restoration of peace and normalcy in Manipur, the CPI would submit a memorandum to the Prime Minister. Copies of the same memorandum would also be submitted to leaders of different political parties, said CPI Manipur State Council secretary L Thoiren at Imphal today before leaving for Delhi. He said that they would hold peace demonstrations at Delhi from June 23 to June 26.
