Nupilan statue unveiled at Gournagar

IMPHAL, Apr 30 : All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO) president, Pheiroijam Nando Luwang today unveiled a statue of Nupilan at Gournagar in Khowai district, Tripura.
The event was jointly organised by AMUCO and Manipuri Literary & Cultural Forum, Tripura.
It was attended by AMUCO advisor, Yangsosong Koireng; AMUCO secretary organisation, Koijam Santosh Meitei; Manipuri Literary & Cultural Forum, Tripura president, Ningombam Bira; MARUP joint editor, RK Tarunjit; and Nupilan Observation Committee, Tripura convenor, Khoisnam Birola among others.
Later, a cultural programme was conducted with Ph Nando Luwang; Khoisnam Birola; Ningombam Bira and MARUP Weekly joint editor, RK Tarunjit as presidium members.
Thougal Jagoi performance by Khoisnam Mamata and Hijam Anusmita; patriotic song by Khumanthem Laxmi; inaugural song by Khumanthem Anima; solo dance by Heirangkhongjam Bidyalaxmi Devi; Thangpak Chainaba, Thang Chunggoi Chainaba and Stick dance by artists of All Assam Huyel Langlong Thang-Ta Association (AATTA) were the main highlights of the programme.
