Koubru expedition flagged off

A team consisting of 17 mountaineers of Lainingthou Sanamahi Thougal Lup, Napat Bishnupur District were flagged off today by vice-president Wakhal Lamjingba, Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board on their way to climb Mount Koubru to seek the blessings of Koubru Epa and Emoinu Ema and offer prayers and oblations. A statement issued by Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board, Haying Khongbal Uphong Yumpham, Imphal has shared that Athokpam Abung led the team of mountaineers.
During the flagging off ceremony, Wakhal Lamjingba expressed hope that the pilgrimage will serve as an inspiration to all and prayed that Koubru Epa and Emoinu Ema would shower their blessings on the people.
