Kakching AC MLA seeks people's support

KAKCHING, Apr 18: Kakching AC MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar called for support from all for NPP and its allied parties intending candidates in the upcoming Kakching Municipal Council election.
The MLA appealed to the people of Kakching to support intending candidates of NPP and its allied parties for a progressive and developed Kakching Constituency.
He was speaking at the programme of handing over renovated and metalled roads of Kakching Wairi Shougaijam Pareng, Kakching Sumak Leikai, Kalyan Ashram Pareng Lambi and Kakching Wairi Phakchao Khong Lambi to the public today. It may be noted that the roads were renovated using paver block technology.
The MLA alleged that 'some corrupt officials of Kakching Municipal Council tried to misappropriate funds sanctioned for developmental activities of the public'.
In view of the above, it is important to elect representatives who will work honestly with sheer dedication for the people's welfare, setting aside selfish gains, he maintained.
He appealed to all to elect eligible candidates in the upcoming Kakching Municipal Council election which is slated to be held in June.
