Lt Gen A K Singh pays homage to fallen soldiers

Lt General A K Singh, AVSM, visited the battalion headquarters of the 107 Infantry Battalion Territorial Army (11th Gorkha Rifles) in Noney on Sunday.
The Lt General interacted with the troops and paid homage to the fallen soldiers of the Tupul landslide at Unit War Memorial.
He encouraged the troops to ensure an incident free environment along the Mega Railway Project from Jiribam to Imphal and work in synergy with the Railways to ensure smooth functioning of the project.
He also appreciated the commendable work and support given by the Territorial Army for the national mega project and regularisation of trains till Khongsang.
Commanding Officer of the Battalion, Col Anirban Saha briefed the Lt General of their operational tasks and all civic actions taken up by the Unit.
Lt General A K Singh further interacted with the Railway officials and extended his support.
