DLSA Chandel organises legal awareness programme

CHANDEL, Feb 15
District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Chandel under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority today organised a 1-Day Legal Awareness Programme on "NALSA Schemes (Focussing on the Free Legal Aid and Services)" and "Tele Law Legal Services" at Kapaam village, Chandel District.
The programme conducted as a part of Integrated Delivery of Legal Services (IDLS-DISHA Schemes) was attended by LH Decemhring, panel advocate, DLSA, Chandel; Kh Jacky Lucy, retainer lawyer, DLSA Chandel and Lv Robert, advocate as resource persons.
The event began with a welcome and introductory speech from LH Decemhring, said a release issued by DLSA Chandel.
Lv Robert elaborated on the schemes of the National Legal Services Authority focused on the marginalized section of the society.
Highlighting the benefits of Tele Law, Jacky Lucy encouraged the participants to download the Tele Law application and avail free legal services.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Changlo Nula Anal, Para Legal Volunteer, Front Office, DLSA Chandel.
