Governor meets cadets of NCC Group Imphal at Raj Bhawan

IMPHAL, Feb 14
Governor La Ganesan interacted with the cadets of NCC Group Imphal who participated in the recent Republic Day camp at New Delhi.
At a solemn function held at Raj Bhawan today, 23 NCC cadets marched in a precise manner into the Darbar Hall.
After refreshments, the function started with one of the cadets sharing her Republic Day camp experience. Cadet Warrant Officer Khanimla shared that the NCC taught them discipline and service before self.
She summed up by saying that all cadets actually understood what “Unity in Diversity” means, as they got a chance to interact with cadets from all over the country. The Group Commander then thanked the Governor for meeting the cadets, and also shared that the cadets had worked extremely hard to get selected for the Republic Day camp.
There were four pre-RDC selection camps and finally 120 cadets were selected to represent the North East region. Of these 120 cadets, 23 cadets were from NCC Group Imphal.
Later, the Governor complimented the cadets for their excellent performance and encouraged them to serve the State and Nation with pride.
