IMPHAL, Feb 10
A “Blessing cum farewell ceremony” of the UNACCO School, Chanura was held today for the 1st Batch outgoing students of Class XII.
The ceremony was graced by Professor Nongmaithem Rajmuhon Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Dhanamanjuri College; Professor Maisnam Iboton Singh former Dean of Manipur University and Visiting Professor of University of Tennessee, USA; Arup Kumar Mukhopadhyay, Director UNACCO School and N Irabanta Singh Chairman, UNACCO School as the presidium members, said a press note by the school.
The blessings and wishes of the distinguished invitees not only inspired but ensured the students to cultivate passion for learning and to excel in the field of education.
While speaking at the occasion, Professor Nongmaithem Rajmuhon Singh enlightened the students about the various contributions put forth by the people of Manipur on Global platform.
While Professor Maisnam Iboton Singh stressed on the importance of building rapport between teachers and the students for a civilized Society.
Addressing the gathering, Arup Kumar Mukhopadhyay acknowledged the sacrifices and efforts of the teachers and the students for the welfare of the school.
Lastly, N Irabanta Singh extended his warm greeting and encouraged the UNACCO family, especially the outgoing students to bring laurels by sacrificing their comfort zone for the upcoming board exams. The event culminated with a plantation programme by the dignitaries.
On the other hand, a blessing ceremony for the students of class X of UNACCO School Meitram, a batch of 2022-23 was organized at Refectory Hall today.
Speaking as the chief guest Professor Ch Ibohal, MIMS Manipur University shared a powerful speech on the importance of life skills in the life of students.
