Rotary Club of Imphal hands over Vocational Service Awards 2023

IMPHAL, Dec 3
Rotary Club of Imphal (RID-3240) on Sunday organised a Vocational Service Awards Ceremony-2023 at Rotary Bhavan, Mantripukhri with past president Dr Ngangom Indrakumar Singh as chief guest of the function.
According to a release issued by Dr Sanjib Nepram, president of Rotary Club of Imphal, two students of Orphan Home, Dewlahland, Wairokpam Prafullo Singh and Chingakham Thouba Singh were awarded Late Sagolsem Indramani Memorial Award for Rotary Scholarship which was sponsored by S Snehprabha Devi, w/o S Nilamani Singh.
Four students of Government Ideal Blind School, Takyelpat, Imphal, Heishnam Borish Singh, Kabi Ganglu, Md Nagawip and Rekuipam R Shimray were awarded with Late Sagolsem Juge Memorial Rotary Scholarship which is sponsored by S Jiten Singh.
An annual scholarship was also awarded to noted singer of Manipur, Sunita Nepram which was sponsored by Om Prakash Agarwal.
Prizes for winners in the 48th Rotary on the Spot Painting Competition 2023 were handed over to Sanahen Oinam of Pitambara English School, Nongmaithem Korounganba of Heritage Convent School and Aditya Sinam of Tiny Tots’ Unique School for securing 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions respectively.
Consolation prizes for Group-A category were handed over to N Pristina of Lee Faith School, Yengkokpam Carroli of Mega Manipur School and B Aditya of St George High School, Wangkhei.
For Group-B category, prizes were handed over to Lanleiba Sinam of Ramakrishna Mission School, Brikrama Lourembam of The Comprehensive School, Seram Jairaj of Nongpok Maheikol for securing 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions respectively.
Consolation prizes were presented to Ningombam Priscilla of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Leimakhong, Rajkumar Nishanta of Maria Montessori School, Ksh Geetchandra of Sacred Heart Hr Sec School.
Rotary Club of Imphal also honoured two eminent personalities of the State namely Guru Leimapokpam Lakpati Singh of Kwakeithel Nganapithong, Imphal West and Arambam Jamuna Devi of Sagolnand Meino Leirak, Imphal West with Rotary Senior Citizens Awards 2023 for their contributions to the society with their respective vocations.  
Dr Ng Indrakumar Singh congratulated all vocational service award winners who had been recognized and appreciated by Rotary Club of Imphal for their valuable services to the community and urged them to continue to serve the community to build a peaceful & developed society.
