NAPSA crush OSCAR in Veteran Cricket, book quarter final berth

IMPHAL, Dec 23 : NAPSA registered a commanding 215-run victory over OSCAR for the second Group A victory in the 20th Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament at Langthabal Public Ground.
The win also secured NAPSA a place in the quarter finals.
NAPSA rode on half century knocks from Simon 65, Bipin 53 not out and significant contributions from Premananda 42 and Bhogen 37 to amass 271 runs for 4 wickets in allotted 30 overs after electing to bat first.
They defended their total with ease by bowling out OSCAR for 56 runs within 17.3 overs on the back of three wicket hauls by Gopal (3/8), Bhogen (3/20) and Ratan (3/18).
Bhogen who starred with both the bat and ball was adjudged man of the match.
YUCC will play YCC in the next match tomorrow.
