BISHNUPUR, Dec 22: 32 Bn CRPF Loktak presented blankets to 243 victims of the conflict taking refuge at the relief camp of Moirang Lamkhai Khoyol Keithel managed by the volunteers of Moirang Lamkhai areas.
The distribution programme was held today as a part of the continued civic action programmes conducted by 32 Bn CRPF Loktak under the aegis of CRPF Manipur and Nagaland Sector aimed at promoting service loyalty and welfare of the people.
32 Bn CRPF Commandant, H Ranjit Singh; Second-in-command (2IC) Rajeshkumar; Deputy Commandant, Ashokumar; Assistant Commandant Hijam Biyondi and volunteer of the relief camp, K Amujao graced as the presidium members of the programme.
Speaking at the occasion, Commandant H Ranjit Singh said that the initiative of distributing blankets has been taken up with the aim of helping the conflict victims keep warm during this winter considering the challenges faced by them while staying at the relief camps.
He further informed that similar distribution programmes will be conducted at other relief camps too.
