IMPHAL, Oct 6 : Manipur had to settle for the first runners up title as Haryana were crowned the champions of the 29th National Junior Thang-Ta Championship 2023 hosted by Jammu and Kashmir Thang-Ta Association under the aegis of Thang-Ta Federation of India at Multipurpose Sports Hall, Polo Ground, Srinagar from October 3 to 5.
Champions Haryana collected 11 gold, 5 silver and 4 gold medals to amass 80 points in the championship while Manipur secured 10 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals to gather 72 points for the first runners up title.
Hosts J&K finished second runners up on 68 points thanks to 7 gold, 9 silver and 8 bronze medals.
