IMPHAL, Oct 19 : Former IPS officer K Radhashyam Singh has been appointed as the State Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) of Manipur Information Commission, conveyed a press release issued by DIPR.
The tenure and terms of service of K Radhashyam Singh will be in accordance with sub-section 16(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005 (read with section 12 of the Right to Information Rules, 2019), it added.
K Radhashyam's appointment as the State Chief Information Commissioner was notified via an order issued on October 17.
Radhashyam will be sworn in on October 21 at the Taj Bhawan by the Governor at 3.30 pm.
