Awards presented

IMPHAL, Sep 7: Johnstone Higher Secondary School 1964 Matric Batch Welfare Association organised an award distribution programme for meritorious students of the school today.
During the programme, 'Kalachand Shastri Memorial Trust Award, 2022' and 'Gurumayum Niranjan Sharma Memorial Cash Award, 2022' presented by the association were distributed today.
These awards are presented annually to the students of the school who have secured the highest mark in Science, Arts and Commerce stream in the board examination of Class 12 conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM).
The 'Kalachand Shastri Memorial Trust Award, 2022' were awarded to Sohodev Mayengbam (Science stream), Venkat Oinam (Arts stream) and Ningjathoi Wakambam (Commerce stream).
Venkat Oinam was also conferred with 'Gurumayum Niranjan Sharma Memorial Cash Award, 2022' for being the topper of the school.
On the occasion, the school also honoured meritorious students with cash awards.
