Jiribam medalists in 2nd Manipur Olympic Games accorded warm reception

JIRIBAM, Sep 6 : Jiribam district athletes who brought home medals from the recently concluded 2nd Manipur Olympic Games 2022 were felicitated at All Jiribam Sports Association (AJSA) complex today.
The felicitation programme organised by Jiribam Olympic Association (JOA) was attended by Jiribam AC MLA Md Achab Uddin, JOA president L Ranjitkumar, retired SP Moirangthem Mubi and SDPO Jiribam TS Chamna Anal as presidium members.
Speaking at the event, MLA Md Achab Uddin said he will discuss with sports associations in the district to mend the shortfalls in sports establishment in the district at the earliest. He added that Jiribam is lagging behind not just in sports but in all fronts and called for co-operation from the public to address all the issues.
Simple gifts were presented to players who won medals at various events and coaches by JOA as a part of the felicitation programme.
