Encroachers evicted

THOUBAL, Sep 5: Illegal structures built on the river bank between Lilong Bridge and Arapti Lamkhai were demolished today.
Earlier, the authority concerned issued a notice asking all the encroachers to dismantle/remove all their illegal structures by September 1.
As many of the structures were not removed, a joint team of the SDO Lilong, Water Resource Department and Thoubal District Police carried out the eviction drive.
