MGSF urges

IMPHAL, Sep 4 : The Manipur Government Services’ Federation has written to the Chief Minister apprising him of the proposed cease work strike from September 5 by the Manipur Secretariat Services’ Association.
In the letter signed by Dr M Rajendra Singh, president of the federation, said the Manipur Secretariat Services’ Association had warned that they will launch a cease work strike if the Government does not fulfil the 9 point charter of demands which are closely connected to all Government employees, teachers and pensioners.
Despite this the Government has not responded to the demands of the association to resolve the issue, he added.
Dr M Rajendra also appealed the Government to look into the matter and settle it before it is too late.
