IMPHAL, Sep 19: Manipur reported 3 new COVID-19 cases and zero Covid related fatalities during the last 24 hours.
The daily positivity rate was reported at 1.1 percent as the 3 new cases were detected while testing 274 samples at various testing centres. The 3 new cases, all from the general population, were reported from Thoubal (2) and Kakching (1).
With the addition of these 3 new cases, the cumulative number of positive cases in the State has reached 1,39,790 including 1,34,768 from the general population and 5022 CAPF personnel.
As no Covid related fatalities were reported during the last 24 hours, the cumulative death toll stayed at 2148.
Only 1 individual was discharged today after completion of surveillance leaving 32 active cases (30-general population and 2-CAPF personnels) in the State. The recovery rate remain unchanged at 98.44 percent.
As many as 335 doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered yesterday at various vaccination centres across the State. Till yesterday the State had administered 32,17,061 doses of COVID-19 vaccines including 16,39,896 (62.40 percent of its eligible population) first dose, 13,18,553 (54.64 percent of its eligible population) second dose and 2,58,612 precautionary dose.
