Mass social service conducted

A mass social service was conducted on Saturday in Kakching district as part of Swachhata Hi Seva campaign.
Students came out in large numbers to clean the school campus and roads. They also installed waste bins along the roads.
As part of the campaign, a Swachhata Rally was also carried out followed by a public meeting at Irengband Community Hall.
M Bokul, president VWSC Irengband; M Nimai, Headmaster Irengband High School; K Biren, H/M Scholar English School; K Roshan, AE Kakching PHE Division and Surjit Kshetrimayum, team leader ISA, JJM Kakching attended the public meeting as presidium members.
Later, the participants took the "Swachhata Pledge" to keep the surroundings clean.
