Laurels for MANIREDA

IMPHAL, Sep 13 : The Manipur Renewable Energy Development Agency (MANIREDA) bagged two National awards for installing the highest numbers of solar street lighting systems and solar irrigation pumps amongst the North Eastern States.
The awards initiated by the Association of Renewable Energy Agencies of States (AREAS) under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) were presented during the 8th foundation day celebration of the association held at Cochin on August 27 and 28, said a statement issued by MANIREDA. Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy Bhagwant Khuba presented the awards to MANIREDA in the presence of K Krishanankutti (Electricity Minister, Kerala).
MANIREDA bagged the two awards for achieving the highest numbers of solar street lighting systems and solar irrigation pumps as on March 3, 2022.
