Entrepreneurship awareness programme held at Maram Khunou

Senapati, Aug 27 : Department of Vocational Studies & Skill Development, Manipur University in collaboration with District Administration Senapati today organised a 1-day Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme at Maram Khunou, Senapati district.
It was attended by Prof Ch Ibohal Meitei, head Department of Vocational Studies & Skill Development, Manipur University; T Shyamkumar Singh, SDO/BDO Tadubi; B Kangba, village chief and P Thomas, chairman as presidium members.
At the event, Kaini B, Block Coordinator Tadubi delivered a lecture on Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission.
Mickey Pao, Junior Development Officer, RD & PR, Senapati elaborated on resources available at the village.
Faculty members of DVSSD, Manipur University also interacted with the participants.
Different aspects of Entrepreneurship Development related to locally available resources were discussed.
Meanwhile, Manipur University also adopted the Maram Khunou village today.
District Administration Senapati and the team from Manipur University agreed to take up activities related to livelihood skill development, rain water harvesting, career counselling, health camps, sanitation, waste management, financial literacy, women empowerment, etc.
