Unclaimed body

IMPHAL, Aug 23: The decomposed body of an unidentified male which was recovered from Imphal River near Sanjenthong bridge by Imphal Police on the morning of August 17 will be disposed of with due legal procedure if it is not claimed by August 25.
The unidentified body had been kept at RIMS for identification but no one has come forth to claim the body. As such, if nobody claims the body by August 25, the body will be disposed of with permission from the competent authority, said a statement issued by Imphal Police Station.
