Agriculture Director reacts

IMPHAL, Jul 5 : Agriculture Director, N Gojendro has reacted against the protest staged by Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Manipur Prant today in front of Agriculture Directorate, Sanjenthong in regards to fertilizer shortage.
Speaking to media persons during a press meet held in connection with today's protest, N Gojendro termed the incident as really unfortunate since it puts the Agriculture Directorate in the wrong light.
In context with the issue of fertilizer shortage in the State, he appealed to all to contact the Department if the fertilizers are not being distributed to the farmers by the representatives concerned.
He further expressed the desire to have a session with the farmers who are not getting the fertilizers rather than resorting to agitations.
Lastly he stated that fertilizers are being distributed to farmers since the State Government has deposited fertilizers in godowns earlier.
As per CCTV footage, the bomb was lobbed by a man at around 9 pm yesterday and the same was found this morning.
