Nipamacha remembered

IMPHAL, Jul 17: The 10th death anniversary of former Chief Minister Wahengbam Nipamacha was observed today at Wangoi Wahengbam Leikai under the aegis of the Wahengbam Nipamacha Memorial Trust.
Offering of floral tributes to the former Chief Minister was the main feature of the death anniversary.
Speaking on the occasion, former Minister Oinam Lukhoi said that the late leader guided him in the field of politics just like his own son.
“It was Nipamacha’s guidance which enabled me to serve the people of Wangoi AC as their representative for around 10 years”, Lukhoi said.
He said that he would always cherish the advices given by Wahengbam Nipamacha and work in line with the former Chief Minister’s ideals.
The function was attended by many people including friends of Wahengbam Nipamacha and members of the Wahengbam Nipamacha Memorial Trust.
