NSUC imposes student curfew

THOUBAL, Jul 13 : The Naga Student Union Chandel (NSUC) has re-imposed Student Curfew (which was conducted in the previous tenure of NSUC 2017-2022) from 8pm to 5am within the jurisdiction of NSUC for the welfare of the students community and prevent school & college students from loitering around in the night without any reason.
In a release, the Information Cell of NSUC also informed that the union would be organising a felicitation programme for the 2 elected MLAs of Chandel & Tengnoupal Assembly Constituencies and meritorious students who secured good marks in this year's Class-XII examination.
UPSC candidates who had cleared Prelims would also be feted at the event. The programme would be held soon after the result of CBSE Class-XII is declared.
"To stop admission of bogus students who were selected in JNV Class 6 Entrance Exam 2022, the Union will take strict action against schools involved in issuing false/fake certificates to students", it cautioned.
