SC Girls Hostel inaugurated

BISHNUPUR, Jul 13 : Thanga AC MLA, Tongbram Robindro and ZEO Zone 4 Bishnupur, Th Tikendrajit today inaugurated SC Girls Hostel at Thanga Government High School.
The hostel was constructed by MOBEDS, Government of Manipur under Babu Jagjivan Ram Chhatrawas Yojana (BJRCY) for girl students belonging to Scheduled Caste.
The inaugural event was attended by Thanga Part 2 Gram Panchayat pradhan, Chandra Singh; Thanga High School headmaster incharge, Shyamo; teaching & non teaching staff and students of the school.
Speaking on the occasion, T Robindro informed that in his second term as MLA of Thanga AC emphasis would be given to education and health sectors.
He also mentioned that the hostel would be beneficial to poor students of the constituency.
Stating that it is the second SC girl students only hostel of Bishnupur district, Tikendrajit urged all to avail the services provided by the hostel to improve education sector in the district.
