IMPHAL, Jul 13 : Ballot box, paper and relevant materials for the Presidential election scheduled to held on July 18 has reached Imphal today.
The election related materials were brought by a team of ECI at Imphal International airport and were transported and kept at the strong room at the Assembly Secretariat under tight security. NDA’s candidate Draupadi Murmu and candidate of the Opposition parties ex-minister Yash-want Sinha will contest the election on July 18 while the counting will be held on July 21. The newly elected President will take oath on July 26.
