Peddler held

IMPHAL, Jul 12 : A team of Imphal East Commando arrested a drug peddler from Kiyamgei Awang Leikai today.
The arrested drug peddler identified as one Khutheibam Boicha (20), s/o Kh Kaji of Kiyamgei Awang Leikai was arrested at around 5.10 pm today during random frisking and checking by the police team. 30 grams of heroin, a motorcycle and a mobile phone was recovered from him, said the police.
Kh Boicha revealed during preliminary interrogation that he had been in the trade of smuggling/dealing illegal drugs for the last 3/4 months and added he had brought the drug from one Md Sahidur, added the police.
He has been handed over to Irilbung police station along with the recovered items for necessary legal action.
