House gutted

IMPHAL, Jul 12: A house belonging to one Wangmayum Boboy was gutted at Mayang Imphal Bengoon Nergam at around 1.30 am today. The fire is suspected to have started from an electric short circuit
As the house was unoccupied at the time of the incident, people came to know about the infernor only when it had totally consumed the house.
As such, neither the Fire Service nor the people of the neighbourhood could save the house.
Even though there was no report of any human casualty, it is said that properties worth around Rs 10 lakh were destroyed by the fire.
