Financial aid extended

IMPHAL, Jun 5: Members of Anouba Mangal WhatsApp Group have provided financial aid to Pebam Naoba Singh, 24, at his residence in Thaoroijam Maning Leikai today.
An amount of Rs 16,200 was handed over to Pebam Naoba Singh who is currently suffering from damage to both kidneys.
Konthoujam Anandabi, member of Anouba Mangal WhatsApp Group has shared that Pebam Naoba's father passed away in 2017. Following this his younger brother was diagnosed with blood cancer  in 2019 and subsequently succumbed to the disease. Half their ancestral property had also been sold off to meet his brother's medical treatment. On top of this, Pebam Naoba Singh was diagnosed with two failing kidneys and advised to undergo kidney transplantation at the earliest, Anandabi informed.
However, the family does not have the resources for this. Donations made by people of the locality barely even cover his treatment, the member of Anouba Mangal WhatsApp Group rued.
According to Anandabi, Pebam Naoba's wife has made an appeal to people to assist the family in her husband's medical treatment.
