KDASU extends aid

Khangabok Development and Student Union (KDASU) has distributed essential items to the evicted families currently living in relief camps at Lilong Haoreibi College boys and girls hostel as well as at Tamya Chingmang.
The essential items include eatables such as rice, lentils, fermented fish, chilli and other necessities like sanitary pads.
It may be noted that the evicted families include both meitei and meitei pangal families.
In acknowledgement of the insurmountable difficulities these families are facing, KDASU has also urged the authorities concerned to take up immediate measures to alleviate their suffering.
