JAC to launch indefinite cease work strike

Joint Administrative Council (JAC) of All Manipur Trade Unions' Council (AMTUC) and All Manipur Govt Employees' Organisation (AMGEO) has resolved to launch an indefinite cease work strike.
In a memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister today, the JAC has demanded immediate release of the backlog of salaries of employees for upto the month of May, 2022 and to disburse the salaries of employees and pension of pensioners on time and on regular basis at par with the employees of Secretariat Services and Home Dept effective from the month of July, failing which it will launch an indefinite cease work strike.
