One more test positive

IMPHAL, Jun 26 : The number of  Covid active cases in Manipur has risen to 11 as one person from Imphal West tested positive in the last 24 hours.
The single day positivity rate updated by the Covid Common Control Room was 2.5 per cent as 40 samples were sent for confirmation in the period while the recovery rate stands at 98.45 per cent
 With this, the figure of total cases has increased to 1,37,255 including 5,014 CAPF personnel while the recovered cases remained unchanged at 1,35,124 as none were discharged today.
No fresh Covid deaths were also  reported in the period and as such the figure remains constant at 2120.
As per the bulletin, 84 D-type and 12 B-type oxygen cylinders were distributed to different health facilities in Manipur yesterday.
All the Covid beds at JNIMS (14) and RIMS (47) are also unoccupied.
Yesterday, the State administered 1217 Covid vaccine doses, increasing the cumulative doses administered to 2953149.
Overall, 61.96 per cent of the State eligible population have taken the 1st dose of Covid vaccine while another  53.06 per cent have been fully vaccinated, said the bulletin.
