BJP leader in town

IMPHAL, Jun 26 : BJP National general secretary CT Ravi landed in Imphal on a three-day visit to the State, today.
He was received by a group of office bearers of BJP State unit led by its president A Sarda Devi at Bir Tikendrajit International Airport.
Upon his arrival, CT Ravi headed to Nambol and enjoyed a meal at the residence of BJP Nambol Mandal president Brajamani.
There, CT Ravi attended a meeting convened by BJP Manipur Pradesh to strengthen the media presence and IT unit of the party.
BJP State media-in charge Ch Chidananda also took part in the meeting.
During the meeting, the gathering discussed means to boost raising awareness about the developmental and welfare activities being taken up by the party using different media platforms.
The BJP National general secretary also attended a party meeting at Oinam, Sunusiphai and Phubala.
Reportedly, the visit of CT Ravi aims to strengthen the Manipur unit of BJP so as to win absolute majority in the 2024 Parliamentary election and to raise awareness about the different welfare schemes taken up by the Centre under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
