Kwatha Village Authority appeals
TENGNOUPAL, Jun 25
The Kwatha Village Authority has appealed to the CSOs, committees and political parties of the State to refrain from protests and unnecessary comments with regard to the ongoing Indo-Myanmar Border fencing work particularly between BP-80 to BP-81.
In a release, the village authority informed that as the issue was concerning Kwatha land and history, it would be unwise on the part of others to comment and politicize it.
"Any decision taken without involving Kwatha will not be tolerated and accepted", it added.
The Kwatha Village Authority further appealed to the Government and authorities concerned to engage Kwatha at the earliest to arrive at a permanent solution in the interest of the State and the Nation.
