Meritorious students feted

THOUBAL, Jun 24: A felicitation programme for meritorious students was held today at   the auditorium of Yairipok Universal College.
The programme organised by Universal College Governing Body was attended by Dr Nimaichand Luwang, chairman Universal College Governing Body; vice-chairman, Dr Maibam Rajendra; Md Khomei; Kakchingtabam Sanathoi Sharma; Md Sattar and Kh Basanta as presidium members.
At the event, Laishram Bhoomika Devi, Nganba Laishram and Chinhoineng Vaphei were felicitated for securing good marks in the recently declared result of Class XII examination conducted by COHSEM.
Rank holders of the school in Class XI examination conducted by COHSEM namely Y Chingkheilembi Chanu, Makakmayum Najmin Sheikh and Makakmayum Farhana were also feted.
Kshetrimayu Priyanka and Toijam Gandhi were also felicitated for securing good marks in B Sc examinations conducted by Manipur University.
