Alcohol seized

IMPHAL, Jun 22 : Coalition Against Drugs & Alcohol (CADA) seized 90 litres of country liquor along with 5 cans of beer during a drive jointly organised by Okram Chuthek Meira Paibi,  Naharol Yaipha Thourang Club and CADA today.
According to a statement, the drive was conducted at Bashikhong Kangujam Lai Manak in Imphal East around 3 pm today.
The statement  added that the alcoholic beverages were recovered from two  individuals, Kangujam Sekhar Singh and Okram Imo, who were selling the products.
The seized items were disposed of promptly at the spot in full view of the public.
