IMPHAL, Jun 20 : Alliance for Development Alternatives-Manipur (ADAM) in association with Dr Thingnam Kishan Foundation (DTKF) will organise a memorial tree plantation ceremony alongside the establishment of Dr Thingnam Kishan Memorial Block at Angaan Ching, Eco Park on June 28.
A statement from ADAM has said that Dr Thingnam Kishan Memorial Block will be set up at the Heritage Complex of Angaan Ching, Eco Park.
ADAM has further urged friends and well-wishers of late Dr Thingnam Kishan as well as others to participate in the day's event by bringing along a tree sapling of their choice.
It is worth noting that in February 2009, Dr Thingnam Kishan Singh, Sub-Divisional Officer of Kasom Khullen in Ukhrul district, driver Aribam Rajen and Mandal Yumnam Token were brutally killed.
